AEM Technical Architect (Edge Delivery Services)

Right now, we are looking for an experienced AEM Technical Architect with strong expertise in AEM and Edge Delivery Services (EDS) to lead enterprise digital experience initiatives for an immediate contract requirement.

What You’ll Do

You will take charge of the architecture and technical design for enterprise AEM implementations, acting as the bridge between business goals and modern front-end execution.

• Architect the Foundation: Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across AEM Sites and Edge Delivery Services (EDS). Define best practices for component architecture and content modeling.

• Drive Edge Performance: Implement Adobe Edge Delivery Services solutions to supercharge website speed, optimize Core Web Vitals, and refine edge-based content rendering and caching strategies.

• Lead Modern Front-End: Establish reusable component libraries and front-end development standards utilizing Next.js, Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript.

• Headless & API Integration: Design headless CMS architectures integrating AEM with modern front-end applications, and build clean API strategies across Adobe and third-party platforms.

• Technical Governance: Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to development teams, conducting code reviews and architecture alignment sessions.

• Optimize Everything: Drive continuous improvement across site performance, accessibility, SEO, security, and modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.

What You Bring

You are a systems thinker who knows how to balance sophisticated content authoring with bleeding-edge web performance. You can effortlessly talk technical roadmaps with engineering teams and ROI with marketing stakeholders.

• AEM Mastery: 8+ years of deep experience working with Adobe Experience Manager, with heavy expertise in AEM Sites, AEM Headless, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and Content/Experience Fragments.

• EDS Expertise: Hands-on experience implementing Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and a rock-solid understanding of modern web performance principles.

• Front-End Chops: Strong, hands-on development experience with Next.js, Node.js, React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST APIs.

• Leadership Drive: Stellar stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills, with a track record of guiding cross-functional or distributed engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Active Adobe Certifications (AEM Architect or Developer)

• Experience with wider Adobe Experience Cloud integrations

• Familiarity with GraphQL, personalization, and analytics platforms

• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum setups
